"Vitrūna" summer resort is situated on a wonderful bank of Dusia Lake in the territory of Meteliai regional park. Dusia- is one of the biggest and cleanest lakes in Lithuania.
The water is crystal- clear, and the flat coast is perfect for children, too. The cool of the lake and the quietness of nature are the advantages of recreation at the summer resort of "Vėtrūna", to name only a few. What is more, pedaloos, windsurfing boards and rowing- boats are for rent here. A catch on morning fishing is guaranteed as Dusia is one of the few Lithuanian lakes where vendace spawn. If you are not interested in fishing and swimming, you may have a pleasant time while wading along the shallow strand of Dusia under leaning trees, or simply sunbathe.
Active holidaymakers have extremely good conditions, as there are beach volleyball, basketball and football fields equipped in the resort. You also have a possibility to play billiards and cricket. Mini sporting events are organized when opening and closing the season.
Those who like to wheel will be able to rent a bicycle. No heavy traffic, interesting landscape, easily passable/ easy- to- pass forest pathways, the beauty of nature are the perfect conditions for cycling. At the resort you will be informed about the tracks for bicycles and local sights. What is more, pedaloos, windsurfing boards and rowing- boats are for rent here. There are also a lot of amusements for children, as for instance jumping on an inflatable clown or playing on the swings.
On arriving you may settle yourself in a house or in tents, or rent a camper van. Moreover, two- seated and four- seated rooms, with a separate or communal shower- bath and WC, are available for those who like comfort. There is a kitchen, a banqueting hall and a terrace in every house. Holidaymakers with their own camper vans are also welcome. A territory supplied with electricity is specially set for them.
Holidaymakers do not disturb each other, because of the comfortably fitted bonfire places and rationally arranged wooden tables and benches. You may get all the necessities here: firewood, drinking water, a shashlik grill or an axe. There is electricity, a well, shower- baths and illuminated WC in the resort.
