Countryside Tourism Association of Lithuania

Lithuanian Countryside Tourism Association of Lithuania a non-governmental organisation is one of the members of the Chamber of Agriculture and unites many persons in Lithuania providing services of countryside tourism.

Activity Goals of the Association are the Following:

To represent interests of the Association members at management institutions and other organisations;
To coordinate the activities of the Association members developing rural tourism in Lithuania;
To organise workshops, conferences, fairs, exhibitions, to prepare methodical means and information bulletins on the activities of the Association and its members;
To improve the qualification of the Association members, to organise traineeships within the country and abroad;
To analyse the demand for rural tourism services within the country and abroad;
To cooperate with the similar organisations acting within the Republic of Lithuania, foreign countries and internationally; to become the member of such organisations;
To participate while arranging and considering bills of the Republic of Lithuania regulating the activities of the Association and its members

Currently the Association unites over 971 members including not only countryside residents providing rural tourism services, but also some agricultural schools and other educational institutions qualifying tourism and countryside tourism organisation experts as well as municipalities of some districts.

Lithuanian Countryside Tourism Association of Lithuania, an independent non-profit organisation uniting people of the Republic of Lithuania involved in rural tourism was established for meeting and implementing common needs and tasks of its members.

While performing its activities the Association observes the Constitutions of the Republic of Lithuania, laws of the associations and the Chamber of Agriculture, other laws, normative acts, and these articles.
From the moment of registration of articles the Association is a legal entity with economic, financial, organisational, and legal autonomy, having its balance, seal, logo, settlement and currency accounts available at the bank institutions registered in the Republic of Lithuania and by one currency account in any foreign country.

The Association is an organisation with limited material responsibility. By its liabilities it bears responsibility only by its property, from which recoverн may be made by the order established by the laws of the Republic of Lithuania. The Associations bears no responsibility for the liabilities of its members, whereas the members are not responsible for the liabilities of the Association.

Period of the activities of the Association is unlimited. The Association shall have at least 3 members.

Rural Small Businessmen and Craftsmen Association of Lithuania, a non-governmental organisation is one of the members of the Chamber of Agriculture. The Association, a public organisation uniting people of Lithuanian countryside involved in small and medium business as well as other persons interested in this business, has been established for meeting and implementing commons needs and purposes of the members, which are in line with the Constitution and laws of the Republic of Lithuania.

Activity Goals of the Association are the Following:

To represent and protect common interests of the Association members at management institutions and other organisations;
To serve the objective of the members to develop small and medium business at countryside, increasing income of rural residents, consolidating competitiveness of the products manufactured and services provided as well as improving the marketing system.

Tasks of the Association are the Following:

To arrange qualification improvement, training, traineeships within the country and abroad for the Association members and other rural businessmen;
To provide methodical material, information, and consultations on diversification of rural activities and services, cooperation of activities, stimulation of small and medium business development;
To provide offers and participate while arranging and considering legal acts regulating the development of small and medium business.
To unite the Association members for economic cooperation, to stimulate integration into the rural communities.

Rural Small Businessmen and Craftsmen Association of Lithuania is a legal entity having its own balance, seal with name, settlement and currency accounts and other accounts available at the banks registered in the Republic of Lithuania as well as accounts available at foreign countries in accordance with the order established by the legal acts.

Rural Small Businessmen and Craftsmen Association of Lithuania is a non-profit organisation observing in its activities the Constitution, laws, and other legal acts of the Republic of Lithuania as well as these articles. The Association has no its attributes.
