Algimantas Šalkauskas

In 1974 joined the Association of Folk Art (presently the Folk Artists Union). His works were displayed in Lithuanian and international exhibitions.

• Cross in the birthplace of Vincentas Sladkevičius, the Lithuanian cardinal. Guronys village, Žasliai neighbourhood, Kaišiadorys district.
• Cross erected in the memory of the partisan victims.
  Sculptural composition of a pillared shrine (koplytstulpis), mounted in the churchyard of Kietaviškės village, Elektrėnai municipality. It is devoted to the victims of the parishioners fallen in the Soviet period.
• Monument to the dead charges of the Mūras arrow-men.
  Cross in the churchyard of Žiežmariai settlement, Kaišiadorys district. Erected in 2001.
  Sculptural composition dedicated to the memory of the exile period. Mounted in Rumšiškės village, at the entrance to the Lithuanian Open-Air Museum.
